Objective 2:

To promote, undertake, assist and/or extend support for operation, maintenance of Home Department, Integrated IT Solutions, CCTV, Hardware, Software, Peripherals, Police Control Room, Modernization & Up gradation of police service & its stations;

Objective 3:

To evaluate and study the welfare schemes, protect constitutional rights and take up such other activities for the benefit of communities either directly or with the existing agencies whether private, public or co-operative societies and including panchayat, banks, government agencies, local bodies, academic or research organizations, non- government organizations, or other relevant organizations;

Objective 4:

To act as a medium of direct contact between Public & Police Department for welfare of the Society, civil defense awareness related to rules and regulation, laws, legal provision, rights of citizens, to take proactive all measures to resume peaceful law of order situation;

Objective 5:

To promote and upgrade skill and knowledge, capacity building. education training, quality service, technology up-gradation, income generation, and common facility centers for carrying out social development and buffer zones community mobilization, micro planning, project management, documentation, technology up- gradation and extension etc;

Objective 6:

To promote and undertake social development activities for the benefits of police department including dissemination of information and policies through electronic and print media or through and other medium from time to time;

Objective 7:

To promote self-employment ventures for the benefit and or rehabilitation of the community, their families and dependents affected due to nature calamities or man-made calamities such as riots, accident or other disturbances;

Objective 8:

To act as a medium of direct contact between public & police department and provide all need to be consulted and involved into the process of development of security and safety of public at large through participatory forums;

Objective 9:

To assist the State level organization, private undertakings, co- operative societies and non-government organization dealing with the maintenance of law, order, security, safety by providing required, support and information & also to obtain supporting information from them;

Objective 10:

To work as an apex institution for co-ordination & evaluation of work carried out under the home department & other bodies set up by the State Government and assisting the community for their safety and security;

Objective 11:

To carry out and under take community policing under “Public Private Partnership (PPP)” principle so as to increase effectiveness of working of the Police administration and therefore to prepare a scheme and implement the same.

Objective 12:

To establish “Suraksha Setu Kendra” in line with “Jan Seva Kendra” and to provide services of the following.

1. Complaint Registration: Missing Person, Lost Vehicle, Lost Property, Lost Passport, Tenant Landlord issues, Domestic issues, Foreigners, Community Policing & Police Friend
2. License, Permissions & Application: Arms, Cyber cafe, Explosive & Petroleum, Amusement, Hotel, Prohibition, Performance and booking. Road show, Loud speaker, Premises uses, o Objection Certificate, Police clearance certificate, Police Band booking, Right To Information
3. Search Information & Security: Missing Person, Missing Vehicle, Missing Passport, Unidentified dead body. Wanted, Security of Residence, Personal. Senior citizen, Women, Children, Road & Traffic
4. Payment Mechanism: New License, Renewal, Traffic Challan payment, Police band fees

Objective 13:

To extend help, support and assist in furthering the Government policies and programs for the safety & security at road, traffic places, public gatherings, religious places, etc;

Objective 14:

To undertake any activity essential for the human, social, educational and economic development of community;

Objective 15:

To provide consultancy to the Government Departments or Offices and others in preparation of guidelines, policy, procedure, manual, management Information System, software installation, maintenance and implementation of the same as third party in the area of safety and security of public at large;

Objective 16:

To act as an Apex Organization to Supervise, Monitor, Regulate, Develop the various SURAKSHA SETU SOCIETY to be registered in the District /Commissionerate in the state of Gujarat;

Objective 17:

To do all other acts and things conducive for the attainment of the above objects in most efficient manner possible and such other activities which are relevant to fulfil the objective of the Society.
